百年薪火相传，百年勤奋耕耘，成就了今天的北部湾大学教育学院，其前身可溯源到1906年广东省立钦州中学堂。现有教职工56人，其中教授5人，副教授18人，博士（含在读）6人；学院拥有教育硕士专业学位授权点，设置有学前教育、学前教育（专升本）、小学教育和小学教育（公费师范生）四个本科专业，在读全日制研究生84人，普通本科学生1364人。每年毕业生就业率一直稳定在93%以上，就业专业对口率在90%以上，毕业生受到用人单位普遍好评。
学院教师教育综合实训中心（北部湾教师发展中心）建有智慧教室、远程教学观摩室、现代教育技术实训室、三笔字画智能教学实训室、蒙台梭利教学实训室、奥尔夫音乐教学实训室、电钢琴实训室、教玩具实训室、形体与舞蹈实训室等50多间实训室，有力支撑了我院师生开展教师职业技能实训。校外实践基地有钦州市实验小学、钦州市人和小学、钦州市子材小学、钦州市幼儿园、钦州市第一幼儿园等二十多所示范性小学和幼儿园，能满足学生教育见习、实习、研习等集中性实践教学的需要。
具有百年办学历史的北部湾大学教育学院，在历经“中师—专科—本科”不同层次教师教育培养实践中，在长期的研究与探索中积累了丰富的经验，形成了鲜明的专业特色。学院学科专业建设成效显著：2020年获教育部新增教育硕士（小学教育）专业学位授权点，小学教育专业在2019年获省级一流本科专业建设点，2021年通过教育部师范类专业二级认证，成为北部湾大学第一个参加专业认证并通过的专业。2021年“软科中国大学专业排名”，学前教育专业和小学教育专业获评B等次，其中学前教育专业，居全国第142名，广西第2名，小学教育专业居全国第96名，广西第3名。近年来，获广西高等教育（本科）自治区级教学成果一等奖1项，获广西基础教育自治区级教学成果一等奖2项、二等奖13项。
学院秉承陶行知先生的教育思想，以“学高为师、身正为范”为院训，坚持“质量立院、人才强院、科研兴院”的办学理念，着力培养德才兼备的幼儿园和小学卓越教师。
An Introduction to the College of Education
A century of passing down the torch and diligent cultivation has forged today's College of Education at Beibu Gulf University. Its origins can be traced back to the Guangdong Provincial Qinzhou Middle School established in 1906. The College currently has 56 faculty members, including 5 professors, 18 associate professors, and 6 doctoral degree holders (including those in candidacy). It holds a professional degree authorization point for a Master of Education. The College offers four undergraduate programs: Preschool Education, Preschool Education (for College Graduates Pursuing Bachelor's Degrees), Primary Education, and Primary Education (Government-funded Normal Students). It has 84 full-time postgraduate students and 1,364 full-time undergraduate students. The graduate employment rate has remained stable at over 93% annually, with over 90% of graduates employed in fields directly related to their majors. Graduates are widely commended by employers.
The College's Integrated Teacher Education Training Center (Beibu Gulf Teacher Development Center) is equipped with over 50 training rooms, including Smart Classrooms, Distance Teaching Observation Rooms, Modern Educational Technology Training Rooms, Intelligent Calligraphy and Painting Teaching & Training Rooms, Montessori Teaching Method Training Rooms, Orff Music Teaching and Training Rooms, Digital Piano Rooms, Educational Plaything Training Rooms, and Dance and Physical Training Rooms. These facilities strongly support the vocational skills training for our teachers and students. Off-campus practice bases include more than twenty exemplary primary schools and kindergartens, such as Qinzhou Experimental Primary School, Qinzhou Renhe Primary School, Qinzhou Zicai Primary School, Qinzhou Kindergarten, and Qinzhou No.1 Kindergarten, which meet the needs for students' centralized practical teaching activities like educational observation, internship, and research.
With a century-long history of teacher education, the College of Education has accumulated rich experience and formed distinctive professional characteristics through its practice of teacher education and training across different levels—from secondary normal education to junior college and undergraduate programs. The College has achieved remarkable results in discipline and program development. In 2020, it was granted a new professional degree authorization point for a Master of Education (Primary Education) by the Ministry of Education. The Primary Education program was recognized as a Provincial-level First-class Undergraduate Program Construction Site in 2019 and passed the Ministry of Education's Second-level Certification for Normal Programs in 2021, becoming the first program at Beibu Gulf University to undergo and pass such certification. In the 2021 "Soft Science Ranking of Chinese University Majors", both the Preschool Education and Primary Education programs were rated B. Specifically, the Preschool Education program ranked 142nd nationally and 2nd in Guangxi, while the Primary Education program ranked 96th nationally and 3rd in Guangxi. In recent years, the College has won one first prize for the Guangxi Higher Education (Undergraduate) Autonomous Region-level Teaching Achievement Award, and two first prizes and thirteen second prizes for the Guangxi Basic Education Autonomous Region-level Teaching Achievement Awards.
